Brooklyn Row House

Brooklyn Row House, Brooklyn NYC

Bernheimer Architecture, 2020

From the Architect:

In this three-story townhome designed for an actor, a musician and their son, a focus was placed on providing an understated yet impactful renovation that would set the backdrop for their personal taste and style.  The result is a modern and inviting home wholly reflective of the creative family who lives there.

Select attention to traditional detail such as the restored entry doors and parlor level crown moulding play against clean plastered walls and simplified detailing of the staircase.  New large openings were created at the back masonry wall on each floor allowing for South light to bathe the minimalist burgundy kitchen and serene Primary Bedroom which enjoys a gracious view over the tree line of Carroll Gardens.
